Privacy policy
Short version: our tools run in your browser, and we use Google Tag Manager for basic analytics.
- No accounts. The site remembers your light/dark choice and some tab choices in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device.
- Tools run in your browser. The Mac Checker and Error Decoder load data files from this site and process your input locally. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
- Hosting logs. Our host may keep standard server logs (IP address, page, time) for security and reliability, for a limited period.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message only to reply and fix the site.
- Analytics. We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-TJ6X4LXG) to load measurement tags. It can set cookies and send page views and events such as copying a code block to Google. We have not added a consent banner; if you are in the UK or EEA, you may want to block it in your browser. Google's own privacy policy applies to that data.
- Future changes. If we add advertising, we will update this page first and, where required, ask for consent.
